Coaching
The little athletics philosophy is to encourage Family Fun and Fitness . Our Friday night meetings are however, fundamentally a competition night. We unfortunately, have very little time and opportunity on Friday nights to coach athletes during events. Athletes will have more fun, compete more effectively and achieve new personal bests if they are coached in the basic techniques of each of the events. We therefore offer a number of free coaching sessions at various times during the week. Athletes are strongly encouraged to try to attend one of these sessions, especially new athletes who are likely to be unfamiliar with most of the events.
Coaches
The club has a team of qualified coaches (accredited by the Athletics Australia). If you are interested in becoming a coach the club will pay for you to attend an "Introduction to Coaching" course. Talk to our Coaching coordinator Greg Morrison for more details.

There will be no coaching during some of the school holidays and on some Sundays when LAQ carnivals have been scheduled. Please check the Coaching Calendar for specific dates.
