Competitions

Please note that athletes must wear the correct club uniform at all competitions.

Club Competitions

Arana holds a club competition most Friday nights during our season which runs from September to March (see our Season Calendar for exact dates).

Season Start: Friday 2nd September 2011
Start Time: Please arrive by 5:45pm for a 6:00pm start.
Finish Time: We normally finish sometime between 8pm and 9pm.
Younger age groups finish earlier.

Coaching sessions are also available on other days.

All athletes are entitled to compete at club competitions of any Little Athletics centre in Queensland.

Regional Competitions (Metro North Region)

All athletes (except Tiny Tots and U6) are eligible and encouraged to compete at our regional competitions. Parents need to complete our online nomination form by the relevant due date listed below.

Relays

Athletes compete individually in most competitions, but in teams for the "Relay" competitions. The Head coach will group athletes into teams once all nominations have been submitted. All nominated athletes will be included in a team.

State Competitions (Queensland)

All athletes (except Tiny Tots and U6) are eligible and encouraged to compete at the Junior or Senior Carnivals and Pentathlons. Parents need to complete our online nomination form by the relevant due date listed below.
