The New Zealand Development Tour is an exciting opportunity for Little Athletics Queensland (LAQ) athletes in the U14 and U15 age groups. It is an annual tour conducted by LAQ with athletes in the team spending approximately 10 – 12 days travelling, training and competing together throughout the South Island of New Zealand, against local athletes from all over the Island.

Olivia Dunlop U15 has been selected to tour with the LAQ team this year. This is a momentous achievement that has been a goal of hers for the last 3 years. She sees it as an amazing opportunity as it’s her first international competition.

Olivia has been a member of Arana LA since tiny tots and has steadily trained and competed across the years to achieve a high performance standard as a hurdller and heptathlete . She was also selected to attend the ALA National Development Camp conducted earlier this year.

Olivia’s experience highlights the wonderful team building, training and competition development opportunities that are offered as you progress to the older age groups in Little Athletics. She is very glad to be part of the Little Athletics culture and experience.
