Every season the Committee selects Centre Captains to represent our Centre and support our athlete group. These athletes are selected on their commitment to the Centre, participation, willingness to help the Committee, sportsmanship and leadership ability.
Meet our Season 2025/26 Centre Captains
Captains: Olivia & Brodie
A proud Arana member since her Tiny Tots days, Liv loves the friendships she’s made and has enjoyed incredible experiences along the way, including meeting Sally Pearson, competing at ALAC, and touring New Zealand.
With 13 years at Arana since Tiny Tots, Brodie leads by example — showing commitment every week by helping set up and pack down, and encouraging others to do their best.
Vice Captains: Mikaela & Tyler
An Arana member since she was five, Mikaela has grown into a multi-event athlete, representing the club at state and national level — including at the Australian Little Athletics Championships in 2022. She loves being part of the U16 team and is passionate about supporting her fellow athletes.
Joining Arana as a U7, Tyler is now in his tenth season with the club. He’s represented Arana at many carnivals, medalled at Regional and State level, and recently won the Brian Battersby Pentathlon. When he’s not on the track, he’s refereeing football, training with Ashgrove Rangers, or drumming with his band The SumFinks.
