Volunteer bond refund

Arana Little Athletics is run by volunteers and relies heavily on our Parent volunteers to to help out to ensure that we can deliver the best experience we can for our young athletes and their families. In recognition of our parent volunteers we offer a bond refund for volunteering at the centre (Family Bond) and Fund Raising.

Please note: All applications for bond refunds must be submitted by April 30 (1 month after season close). No late applications will be processed.

How it works…

Families can earn back their full $80 family bond by accumulating 10 volunteer credits throughout the season. Credits can be earned through a combination of the following activities:

1. Friday night event support (1 Credit per competition night)

Age marshalling (helping run events), time keeping, set up and pack up.

• Parents take the lead on running the events, recording and coordinating kids. The Arana committee members will be available for support. This year there will be a vest for the lead person in the age group to wear to help athletes and parents know where to go.
• Come a bit early to help set up events, if you are the last group on an event pack it up ready to taken back to the sheds
• Each age group folder now contains a QR code for parents to sign on and record their assistance. Please use your phone camera to scan the code whenever you help on a competition night so that you may have your credit recorded.

2. Canteen helpers (4 Credits per canteen shift)

• This season each age group will have a nominated night for the Canteen.
• Sign on to the canteen register (button below) and nominate for a shift on the week your child’s age group is nominated.
• Activities include – set up, cooking on the BBQ, food prep in the canteen, service, pack up and clean up.

OR 3. Raffles (4 Credits per ticket selling shift)

One of the easiest ways to earn bond credits is by helping with our Arana Leagues Club raffles.

• Sign onto the raffle register to volunteer to sell tickets at Arana Leagues Club (button below).
• Raffles are conducted on Thursday nights between 5.30pm and 6:30pm or Sunday’s between 3:00pm and 4:00pm.
• Go to Arana Leagues Club on your assigned day, the meat tray and tickets will be waiting for you, just ask at the front desk.

All raffle funds go straight back into local sporting clubs. So every shift not only helps your kids, but supports our whole community!
